What industry can ramming material be used in?

The ramming material refers to an unshaped refractory material which is applied by means of beating (manual or mechanical) and hardened under heating at a temperature higher than normal.

Classified by material, high alumina, clay, magnesia, dolomite, zirconium and silicon carbide, carbon refractory ramming material.

The ramming material is made of silicon carbide, graphite, electric calcined anthracite as raw material, mixed with various ultrafine powder additives, fused cement or composite resin as a bulk material made of binder. It is used to fill the furnace cooling equipment and the masonry gap or the filler for the masonry leveling layer.

The ramming material has good chemical stability, erosion resistance, abrasion resistance, flaking resistance and heat shock resistance. It is widely used in metallurgy, building materials, non-ferrous metal smelting, chemical, machinery and other manufacturing industries.
