Insulating castables and thermal insulation castables are all lightweight castables, also known as lightweight thermal insulation castables. The Insulating castable material is a refractory castable material with a low bulk density, and the basic bulk density is about 1.5. This kind of castable contains many pores, low bulk density, small thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation effect.
Insulating castale composition are mainly prepared from lightweight refractory aggregates and powders and binder additives. The lightweight castable is made of aluminate cement, high alumina fines, ceramsite, plus a number of additives. The product has light weight, high compressive strength, acid and acid gas corrosion.
Insulating castable density
By the Insulating castable density, the insulation castables can be divided into:
Semi-lightweight thermal insulation castable with a bulk density of 1.0~1.8g/cm3;
Light refractory castable with a bulk density of 0.4~1.0g/cm3;
Ultra-light refractory castable with a bulk density of less than 0.4g/cm3.
