What problems should be paid attention to before baking the tundish?

(1) Within 1 to 2 hours before the pouring of the tundish, boil quickly to 1000~1100 °C, preferably cast steel immediately.

(2) For a long time of baking, the carbon in the aluminum carbonaceous product is easily oxidized, the strength is lowered, the surface is loose, and the service life is lowered.

(3) After long-term baking and not used, the magnesium coating lining is easy to crack, and the surface is loose after the moisture absorption, and the strength is lowered.

If used again, some of the loose paint is easily mixed into the molten steel, resulting in an increase in molten steel inclusions.
